(Manchester, NH) - With Monday's news that Alaska Senator Ted Stevens was convicted on all seven counts of illegally concealing lavish gifts from lobbyists and oil executives, New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley today renewed his call for Sununu to return $35,000 in tainted contributions from Stevens that Sununu has thus far refused to return.

Lynch’s war chest dwarfs Kenney’s

Fundraising reports reveal that Gov. Lynch (D-Hopkinton) has raised significantly more money for his re-election campaign than his rival state Sen. Joe Kenney (R-Wakefield) did for his challenge.

In the latest fundraising period, Lynch raised $75,603 and Kenney raised $13,843, according to reports filed with the New Hampshire Secretary of State. Lynch also has $368,466 cash-on-hand compared to Kenney's $29,635.

Sununu’s PAC gives helping hand to state senate candidates

U.S. Sen. John Sununu (R-Waterville Valley) has been using his political action committee to bolster down-ballot candidates.

Sununu's Daniel Webster PAC reported that it distributed $46,000 to various campaigns and ended the period with $49,673 cash on hand. The PAC also reported that it raised $60,500.
