Dem party statement: No statement tonight
By Politicker StaffNew Hampshire's Democratic party chair Raymond Buckley will be issuing a daily statement in response to the Republican National Convention, but for today, he is following U.S. Sen. Barack Obama's lead and putting politics aside.
"New Hampshire Democrats join Sen. Barack Obama in expressing hope that the citizens of the Gulf Coast will be safe as Hurricane Gustav makes landfall," said Buckley. "New Hampshire Democrats also join Sen. Obama in urging donations to the Red Cross at donate.barackobama.com."
"Accordingly, I will make no statement tonight about the activities at the Republican National Convention," Buckley concludes.

I mean who wants a leader like Ray who hardly ever embarrasses himself or his party! I would much rather have Ferg as my leader!
Come on! Comments about the party going on despite a hurricane, Sending out emails and specifically saying "Do not forward this to the press" and then reading the same email in the Union Leader a day later. Well thought out attacks against a stage. The list goes on a on!
