SALEM--Jennifer Horn (R-Nashua) spent the Sunday before the primary telling supporters that voters "can do better" than current U.S. Rep. Paul Hodes (D-Concord).

Horn is competing in a Republican primary in the 2nd Congressional District against Jim Steiner (R-Concord), Grant Bosse (R-Hillsboro) and state Sen. Bob Clegg (R-Hudson).

"We can do better and I think we deserve better," Horn told supporters at the Colosseum restaurant.

Horn blamed Washington, D.C. for gridlock and intervening in health care and the economy.

"We don't need government getting in the way, we need the government to get out of the way," Horn said.

Horn also argued that the Republican Party has a history of standing-up for individuals that include freeing slaves, granting women the right to vote and passing civil rights legislation.

"Republicans stand for what is right for every individual in the community," she said.

People wake up. I saw all

People wake up. I saw all these candidates answering questions, well two did the other two not so much! I was actually really upset at how Horn danced around the questions. It was a joke, I hope you all get to see it before you go cast your votes!
