John Stephen Extends Momentum With Major EndorsementsFormer Senator Bruce Keough, Former MA Governor Paul Cellucci Back Campaign
MANCHESTER, NH- John Stephen, Republican candidate for New Hampshire's 1st Congressional district, today picked up two top endorsements just before this Tuesday's primary election. Former State Senator, Gubernatorial candidate and Mitt Romney for President State Chairman Bruce Keough and former Massachusetts Governor and Rudy Giuliani for President National Chairman Paul Cellucci backed Stephen's campaign.
"The momentum has clearly come our way tremendously over the past few weeks," Stephen said. "The public wants change and they know that I am the only candidate in this race that can shake up Washington. Bruce Keough and Paul Cellucci are two people who have worked outside of the establishment their whole lives and they have never gone-along-to-get-along. That's why I am so thrilled to have received their endorsements."
"John Stephen is clearly the fiscal conservative who can deliver results," noted Keough. "He is willing to stand up against the entrenched interests and bring real change to Washington. He is the type of leader who can bring Republicans back to the majority party by getting us back to the ideals of limited government and greater freedom. John Stephen will never be a 'go along to get along' representative. He will stand up for New Hampshire values and he won't change."
"John Stephen will always be a champion for the taxpayers," added Cellucci. "The citizens of New Hampshire know what they are getting in John- a pit bull on wasteful spending like Gov. Sarah Palin. That's just what Congress needs right now. John will deliver results where others have failed and he will be a leader for the next generation of Republicans to get us back the message of fiscal discipline and accountability to the public."
